She is survived by: her friend Alfred D Hopf; her husband Alfred Hopf; her children, Christopher Hopf (Joanne) of Albany, Judy Hart (William) of Lake Katrine, Stephen Hopf (Dori) of Saugerties, Bethany Hopf (Gregory Bennett), Peter Hopf Saugerties (Amy) and Michael Hopf (Stacey) of Saugerties; her grandchildren, Stephen Hopf, Mathew Hopf, Abby Hopf, Vanessa Hopf, Michelle Hopf, Sumar Hart, Shane Hart, Kimberly Hart-Flahive, Marcus Bennett, Veronica Bennett, Grace Hopf, Kathryn Hopf and Joshua Hopf; her stepgrandsons, Owen Hopf and Colin Hopf; her great grandchildren, Hunter, Tanner, Braden and Kyla Hopf; and her caregiver Jannie Reeves.
Family suggests donations in Joan's memory can be made to her favorite charity, St Jude's Children's Hospital.
