He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Halwick and Joan Closi Halwick; and his sister Tracy McGuinnis. He is survived by: his wife Denise Norman; his children, Alisha Olive (Ryan) of Mt. Marion, Jimmy Brown of Saugerties, Logan Halwick of Saugerties and Jarrett Halwick (Mary) of Catskill; his sisters, Debbie Martin (Dick) of Utah and Sherry Ralph (Tim) of Ruby; his grandchildren, Ryker, Arya Olive, Kora and Kamryn Halwick; and his pets, Boots, Baby and Smores.

Family suggests donations in his memory be made to Ulster County Hospice.
