He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Rose and Katherine Rose; his sister Nancy Wager (Rose); and his pet Dixie. He is survived by: his aunt Tiny; his wife Jacqueline Rose (Anderson); his daughter Heidi Martino (Josh); his grandchildren, Caleb, Madison, Gavino, Lexie and Tomi Rae; his stepchildren, Albert, Scott, Amy Ackerman and Donald Schmidt; and his siblings, Debbie Rose, Arnold and George Petersen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In honoring one of Skip's passions, the family asks that donations be made to the Ulster County SPCA.
