We are sad to announce that on March 3, 2025, at the age of 97, Genevieve Orbacz (Saugerties, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antoni Stempkowski and Aniela Stempkowski (Bieniek); her husband Victor; her children, Christine, Michael, Susan (Kubisky) and Jeffrey; and her sisters, Statia Repka, Gladys Nowak, Helen Soris and Anna Mae Lewinski.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Orbacz of Highland, Patricia Nilsen (John) of Hurley, Karen Schoonmaker of Poughkeepsie, Barbara (Marc Boulais) of Pittsfield, MA, Rick Orbacz (Candy) of Lakeland, FL and Brian Orbacz (Linda) of Allentown, PA; and her sister Florence (Madej) of Niskayuna, NY. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
