He is survived by: his daughter Jennie Marie Gaines; his wife Edith of Kingston's Habitat; his grandson Freddy; his siblings, Robert Gaines (MaryJo), Kathleen Cantaben (Gary), Jane Augustein (Dean), Timothy Gaines (Joyce) and Laura Gaines Fromholz (John); his siblings-in-law, Louise Medici (Richard) and Gary Tilton; and his nieces and nephews, Kelly Cantaben, Dominique Medici, Gina Medici Trilla (Andrew), Erin Girard (Jon), Shawna Gaines, Claire Ryan, Rob Gaines (Heather), Richard Medici (Michelle), Patrick Swift (Rebecca), Kevin Gaines (Hannah Lee), John Fromholz (Rachel), Brian Gaines, Neal Gaines and Christopher Fromholz.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Seamon - Wilsey Funeral Service (45 John St, Saugerties, NY 12477). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 8:00 PM and at 9:00 PM at the same location.
