She was predeceased by: her parents, Rafaela "Ray" Quidone Buda and Frank Buda. She is survived by: her husband John Gunderud; her children, George Fatizzi (Cathy), John Karpf, Michael Karpf and Rayann Fatizzi (Jacob); her stepchildren, John Gunderud, Susan Whitaker (Tom) and Staci Delmastro (Eric); her siblings, Elizabeth Labarr and Salvatore Buda (Sue); and her close friend Cate Baran. She is also survived by eleven grandsons: two great grandsons; a great granddaughter: several nieces and nephews.
