She was predeceased by: her parents, Timothy Benjamin and Marian Pond Benjamin; and her husband Nathan Thorne. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Wilson (Brian) of Saugerties, Matt (Susan) of Arizona and Patrick of Kingston; her grandchildren, Peter Winchell, Shannon Hughes (Justin), Serena Rafferty (Sean), Michael Winchell (Chiharu), John Wilson, Jason Thorne (Jessica) and Melinda McNeil (Joe); her sister Loraine Ferraro; and her son-in-law Charles Winchell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to Malden-West Camp Fire Co. or Diaz Ambulance.
