Though Edna may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer VanAken and Corneila VanAken; her husband Joseph, Sr.; and her siblings, Ruth Miller, Helen Naccarato, Sarah Tillson, Augustus, Harold and William VanAken.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph, Jr. (Mary Ann Hunter), Michael (Joanne) and Wayne Brocco (Bonnie).
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home Inc. (45 John St, Saugerties, NY 12477). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. (45 John St, Saugerties, NY 12477).
