She was predeceased by: her husband Emil W. Dedek; and her significant other David Noreika. She is survived by: her children, Paula Dedek, Lisa Wolfe and Peter Dedek; and her significant other Belgian.

“I knew Dolores for many years from dog Agility and FastCAT trials. We were both New Yorkers, and had a lot in common. She and her beautiful Belgians were a force to be reckoned with in the ring. She was amazing, well into her 80's. I admired her and told her so often; a true inspiration. and I will miss her. Jean Elsroth”
