With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Meade of Saugerties, New York, born in Kingston, New York, who passed away on March 1, 2024 at the age of 51. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Meade to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his brother Philip. He is survived by: his close friend Jennifer Scarpa-Meade; his children, Ramero and Savannah; his siblings, Vanessa Grimsland (Paul), Barbara Wiltzius (Greg), Michael Meade (Julie), Tom Meade (Jennifer) and Bill Meade; and his pet Grayson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dave's behalf to Saugerties Animal Shelter, 4 High St, Saugerties NY 12477.

“When I reminisce of my childhood I always remember Dave being the cool kid in my neighborhood. . Some of my best memories were Dave playing, Jam On It by Newcleus on the school bus every morning. The day UPS arrived in his driveway delivering his Haro Freestyle Master in green and Dave’s mom teaching me how to swim at Saugerties beach. The last we spoke was on Platte Clove road, you were hiking up with your son while I was biking up. Till we meet again. Rest Easy my friend”
