It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Blanche A. Peter of Saugerties, New York, who passed away on December 15, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elsie Sparling (Harrison) and Sheldon Sparling; her husband Carl Peter; her brothers, Sheldon and Wesley; and her son Michael.

She is survived by: her children, John, Carl, Kathy (Terry Breitenstein), Sean (Bambi Englehardt) and Dori (Stephen Hopf); her grandchildren, Alycia, Darien, Dylan (Mackenzie Peter), Skylar (Justin Brown) and Abby; her great grandchild Wesley; her sister-in-law Bernice Sparling; her niece Mary Ellen Rydell; her great-nephew Andrew; her nephew Kevin Sparling (Beverly Sparling); and her friend June Jasienowski.
