She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy VanVlierden and Helen Luhrs VanVlierden; her husband Walt Decker; and her sisters, Marie Martin, Bertha Lasher and Margaret Swart.

She is survived by: her godson Ronald K. Myers (Maggie); and also, Viola of Saugerties and Reid K. of Saugerties. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in Aunt Betty's name to the Saugerties Animal Shelter, as this organization is near and dear to her heart.
