He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Steele, Sr. and Emogene Steele (Brigham); his wife Diana Steele; his siblings, Lewis Steele, Bruce Steele, Richard Steele and Hazel Latham; his granddaughter Emily Rose Latalladi; and his former wife Sheryl Diane Mitchell Steele.
He is survived by: his children, Sheri Steele (Thomas Marcellus), Kristi Jennings (Greg Worsa), Donna Lampkin (Thomas), Debbie Latalladi, Nina Casale and Nicholas Steele; his siblings, Virgil Steele, Jean Irwin (Richard) and Kathleen Pfeiffer (Richard); and his grandchildren, Stephanie Duell, Ryan Heritage (Rehgan), Michael Lombardo, Angela Duell, Shealyn Heritage, Lacie Heritage and Joseph Latalladi.
