He is survived by: his wife Sandra McTygue (Rozelle); his daughters, Lisa McTygue Cross (Brian), Tracy Lyon (Mark) and Sharon McTygue (Dave); his grandsons, Brad (Bianca), Shane Lyon (Julianne), Colin Flanders (Courtney), Mason Wheelock (Julia) and David Hart; and his brothers, Bill and Pete McTygue (Jackie).

“Oh gee, I am so sorry. I knew Tom and the family all my life. I remember when he went to Barber school and opened the shop on Van Dam street. It was sad when it closed and Tom perused bigger and better things, which was a plus for our community. I haven't seen the kids in many, many years, nor have I seen my old bowling partner Sandy. I think of you often Sandy. This is a very difficult time and my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Nancy Robinson”
