He was predeceased by: his parents, Clement Neilen and Dorothy Neilen; his brothers, Clement and John Akin; and his nephew Matthew Neilen.
He is survived by: his friends, John, Cathy Murray, Raz Rosse, Bill MacEvoy and Dennis Cummings. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, including great nieces and great nephews.
