The passing of Richard P. Varley of Saratoga Springs, New York leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 12, 2025 at the age of 84. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Lang Brooks Varley and George Varley; and his siblings, Sue Brooks Garnsey (Zene), Clara Brooks Charron (Art) and Thomas Varley (Candace).
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Sloan, Julian Pirie and Amelia Domazet; his wife Donna Bird; and his sons, Bussing and Broadway of Saratoga Springs, NY. He is also survived by step children, grandchildren, several cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the William J. Burke & Sons/ Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes (628 N Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866). A procession will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Mama Mia's Restaurant (185 Ballston Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866).
