Rena M. Dyke Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rena M. Dyke of Saratoga Springs, New York, who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ernst and Lena Ernst; her husband Robert; and her siblings, William, George, Herbert, Albert, Ralph, Amos, Mary Louise and Elsie.
She is survived by: her children, Colleen Shannon, Carolyn (Todd Zinn) and Robert Dyke (Bonnie); her siblings, Betty Cleveland and Larry Ernst; and her grandchildren, Amy Pyne (Johnny), Michael Shannon (Morgan), Patti Furler (Eric), Kelly Shannon, Danny Shannon (Nora), Kayla LeClair, Jennifer LeClair, Brandon Zinn (Kendra), Marisa Zinn, Alicia Gardineer (Adam), Kaitlyn Vandewater (James) and Dustin Dyke. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the William J. Burke & Sons/ Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes (628 N Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
