He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Szurek and Nympha Knapik Szurek; his wife Donna Tessiero; his grandchildren, Oliver, Scarlet, Violet of Annapolis, Olivia, Gia and Patrick of Saratoga Springs; his sister Phyllis; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Saita Elaine DeVito, Anita Cariati, Patricia Arthurs, Debi Tessiero, Donald DeVito Robert Arthurs and Bart Tessiero.
