He is survived by: his children, Lora Diggins (Patrick), Joseph Ernst (Kimberly) and Patricia Ernst; his grandchildren, Kathleen Lomaestro (Michael), Melissa Fitzpatrick (Jim), Anne Kelley (Tyler), Jennifer Grandy (Alex), Joseph Ernst, Danielle Wagner (Patrick) and Jacqueline Ernst; and his great grandchildren, James Fitzpatrick, Addison Kelley, Cecilia Lomaestro, George Fitzpatrick, Margaret Lomaestro, Maeve Grandy, Olivia Kelley, Francis Grandy, Remington Wagner and Madeleine Wagner.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William J. Burke & Sons/ Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Home (628 N Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Clements Church (231 Lake Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866). A burial was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at the St. Peter's Cemetery (150 West Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866).
