She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry F. Decker and Margaret A. Muir; her husband Raymond D. Van Tassel; and her siblings, Francis, Chester, James, Corcelia and Roberta.
She is survived by: her daughters, Roberta Buff (Bernard), Shirley Valestin (Robert) and Lillian Van Tassel; her grandchildren, Roberta Ferraioli (Andrew), Bernard Buff Jr. (Cathleen), Marianne Pierro (Steven), Raymond, Matthew, Mark Buff and Jennifer Archambault (Michael); her great grandchildren, Justin Ferraioli (Anita), Maeve, Anika, Celeste Buff, Michael, Thomas Pierro, Alexis Keegan (Gerald), Elizabeth, Julianne, Carolyn, Zachary, Jeanette and Nicholas Archambault; and her great great grandchild Lena Ferraioli. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
