It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Heckler (Saratoga Springs, New York), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on December 24, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Wilansky and Rose Goldberg Wilansky. She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Heckler; her children, Sarah DiSiena (Austin), Rebekah Heckler and Aaron Heckler (Pauline); her brother Steven Wilansky (Sonia); and her grandsons, Brayden DiSiena and Carter DiSiena.
Joyce enjoyed horseback riding, barrel racing, campaigning for political candidates, and volunteering for vaccinating against the COVID virus.
In lieu of flowers donations in honor of Joyce can be made to C.R. Wood Cancer Center at Glens Falls Hospital and are appreciated.
