Joseph P Burns Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph P Burns (Saratoga Springs, New York), who passed away on December 3, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Burns and Geneva Clute Burns (Tootsie); his daughter Margaret Lynn Burns; his granddaughter Kayla Lee Whitney; his son-in-law David Whitney; and his siblings, William, James, John, Frank Burns, Grace Mae Rice and Geneva Yvonne Burns.

He is survived by: his wife Marguerite Burns (Petel); his daughter Jo Ann Burns Berrett (Brent) of Arizona; his granddaughter Shelby Jordan Whitney of Milton; his brother Clarence Burns (Norma) of Scotia, NY; and his sister-in-law Sharon Burns of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
