With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John O'Brien (Saratoga Springs, New York), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on December 6, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John O'Brien and Julia Conway O'Brien; his siblings, Marguerite Westervelt, Regina Lucas and Edward O'Brien; and his son-in-law Joe Gallo.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Marie O'Brien; his children, John W. O'Brien (Kathleen), Kevin T. O'Brien (Phyllis), Andrew P. O'Brien (Laurie), Maura Gallo, Karen Eastman (Edward) and Lisbeth Caples (Edward); his grandchildren, Kaylyn, Jessica, Lindsay, Joseph, Kaitlin, Karley of Kassie, E. J., Phillip, Geoff, Maura, Andrew John, Devin and Michaela; and his great grandchildren, Ava, Olivia, Jack, Marc, Kylie, Nicholas, Edward Robert, Isaiah, Emma, Logan and Tristan. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Foundation or St. Jude's Children's Hospital, two causes close to Jack's heart.
