He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Fitzner and Catherine Meehan Fitzner. He is survived by: his wife Alice Lissow; his sister Mary Ann Banaszewski (David Guile); his nephew Mark Banaszewski (Amy); and his great-niece Summer Banaszewski. He is also survived by several cousins, and many dear friends.
