He is survived by: his children, Kayne Strippe of Waterbury Ctr, VT, David Matthei of Barre, VT, Stephanie Harms (Edward) of Freeport, FL, Michael Matthei of Middletown, DE, Valerie Matthei of Middletown, DE, Gregory Matthei (Mary Ann) of Troy, NY and Elisabeth Matthei of Clifton Park, NY; and his sister-in-law Ruth Thomas of Hilton Head, SC. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
