He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest F. Lawas, Sr. and Shirley McDonald Lawas; and his brother Adam W. Lawas. He is survived by: his siblings, Kristine Herzberg (Jack) of Holly Springs, NC and Ernest F. Lawas, Jr. (Nancy Simm) of Simsbury, Conn; his sister-in-law Christine Lawas (Schiller) of Horseheads, NY; and his nieces and nephews, Emma, Jacklyn, Eli, Zachary and Lucas.
