He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. Hines and Helen Hart Hines; his siblings, Marsha Hines and James M. Hines; his nephew James D. Hines; and his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Gillespie (Ron) and Joyce Opitz (Pete).
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Colleen M. Tempel (Dan) and Cory E. Hines; his grandchildren, Joey, Alex, Christopher, Katie Tempel, Cameron, Carter and Preston Hines; his brother Robert Hines; and his sons, Bussing and Broadway of Saratoga Springs, NY. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the William J. Burke & Sons/ Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Home (628 N Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Historic Church of St. Peter (241 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866). The military honors will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
