He was predeceased by: his father Robert Mitchell. He is survived by: his mother Virginia Mitchell (Douglas) of Keeseville, NY; his wife Robin Hensley of Wilton, NY; his son James (Gemini Mitchell); his granddaughters, Beth and Carolina; his daughters, Beth Mitchell (Justin Reckner) and Carolina (Joe McMillan); his granddaughter Nadine of Wilton; and his siblings, Mary Ellen (Jim Cleveland), Pat (Bunny Mitchell), Katherine (John Carson), Theresa (Mike Chauvin), Jim (Charlotte Mitchell), Arthur (Anna Mitchell) and Tom Mitchell of Schoharie, NY. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
