He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles J. Furey, Sr. and Audrey Furey (Waring); his son Timothy Furey; his grandson Jeremy Furey; his brother Dennis Furey; and his daughter-in-law Jennifer Maye Furey.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Joseph Furey III and Meghan Furey-Johncox (Todd); his siblings, Gerard Furey (Nancy), Anne Moore (Edward), Richard Furey (Elaine), Elizabeth Carlton (Robert), Joseph Furey (Leah), John Furey, Geralyn Ruhle (James), Paul Furey and Julie Leffler (Mark); and his friends, Donnie Rocco and Tab Koshgarian. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
