She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gallagher and Helena Gallagher; and her husband Peter Bennett of Saratoga Springs. She is survived by: her great-uncle Anthony Battillo; her stepson Matthew Bennett (Reagan Bennett); her siblings, Kathleen Leach (Kevin) of Obrien, FL, Patrick Gallagher of LaGrange, GA and Thomas Gallagher of Kirkwood, NY; her nieces, Heather Leach of Newark, OH, Danna Leach of Lawton, OK, Alicia Henry of North Carolina and Katie Rogers of Portland, ME; her nephew Kevin Gallagher (Shannon) of Sarasota, FL; and her aunts and uncles, Enas Meyen (Robert) and Stephen Bialousz (Marilyn) of Salt Point, NY. She is also survived by five great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Carol's name to the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation at 10 Lake Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
