He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Briggs and Laneta Winney Briggs (Nete); his close friend Kendall Lloyd; and his uncles, Homer Winney, James Briggs and Joseph Briggs.
He is survived by: his brother Bob; his children, Bryan, Kristy Briggs and Cassandra Reed (Thomas Reed); and his grandchildren, Grace Bovat (Briggs), Thomas, Jr., Logan, Oliver and Bianca Reed.
