It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Platt of Saratoga Springs, New York, born in Middleburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 29, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clay Boyer and Beulah Boyer; her husband Ronald B. Platt; and her brother Dick (Lois Boyer). She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey (Alice Richmond) of Glens Falls and Rebecca Durand of Rotterdam; her granddaughter Jennifer Wagner (Michael) of Ballston Spa; her niece Ellen; and her nephew David Boyer.
Due to the ongoing pandemic a private service will be held at 12:45pm on Thursday February 4, 2021 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway (518-584-5373).
