He is survived by: his son Anthony DeMatteo (Patricia); his grandchildren, Erin Dahlstrom (Jerad), Julie DeMarco (Tom) and Maria DeMatteo (Taylor Morris); his stepdaughter Rose Downing; his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Aidan, Hadley Dahlstrom, Owen, Gavin and Griffin DeMarco; his stepgrandchildren, Sarah Downing, Jessica Winney (Darion), Ryan Smith (Jill), PJ Pierce (Stacy), Grant Pierce and Skylar Pierce; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Lawson Smith, Mihla Smith, Lola Smith, Kaylin Solari and Lena Goldman; his brother Jeremiah; and his sister-in-law Alice DeMatteo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
