She was predeceased by: her parents, Emery Awalt and Nellie Horkman Awalt; her former husband George Shinn; her grandson Justin Ordon; her son-in-law Wayne Ordon; her great grandchild William Eckerson; and her siblings, Martin Awalt, Leroy Awalt and Bernadine Awalt.
She is survived by: her husband William F. Thomas; her children, LeaEt Ordon, Timothy Shinn, Wes Shinn (Nancy), Donald Shinn (Judith) and Stace George Shinn (Tricia); her grandchildren, Allison Fuller (Timothy), Glen Shinn (Holly), Tia Van Avery, Elissa Kouray, Eric Eckerson, William Eckerson, Jeff Farley and Weston Farley; her great grandchildren, Emma, Alexander, Max, Harper, Maggie, Damien Van Avery, Kristian Van Avery, Lucas Kouray, Hermonie Eckerson, Mackayla Eckerson, Stella Eckerson, Aja Eckerson, Kaloie Eckerson, Jacob Eckerson and Johnathan Eckerson; and her great great grandchild Kaia Van Avery.
