She was predeceased by: her parents, Holsey Russell and Bessie Russell (Simmons); her husband Lester DeGroff; her son Trent DeGroff; and her sisters, Irene Piurowski and Eleanor Talerico.

She is survived by: her daughter Tina Curcio (Joe); her grandchildren, Tom Curcio (Holly) and Trisha Munoz (Leo); and her great grandchildren, Brodey and Tyler Curcio. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
