He was predeceased by: his brother Roy LaHart Jr.; his siblings-in-law, Mae and Ray LaVarnway; his aunt Flora Borrette; and his uncle Wilford LaHart.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen LaHart (LaVarnway); his children, Amy (Bill LeClair), Abby (Corey Boire), Anna LaHart (Adam Layhee) and James LaHart; his grandchildren, Eve Boire, Lily, William and Jenna LeClair; and his siblings-in-law, Mark LaVarnway, Susan Relation and Nancy Falcon (Guy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Third Age Adult Day Center or the Center for. Donation & Transplant New York - Vermont.
