With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen A. Burkush of Saranac, New York, born in Plattsburgh, New York, who passed away on July 31, 2022 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Onufry Baraniak and Juanita Baraniak (Collins); her husband Stephen Burkush; her grandparents, Michael, Katherine Baraniak, Tom and Josephine Collins; her aunts, Barbara Beecher, Rosanne Pelletier, Natelie Charland, Catherine Furnia, Harriet Furnia and Geraldine Mead; her sisters, Kathy Bennett (Eddy Bennett) of Saranac, Judy Soderberg (Roy Soderberg) of Morrisonville and Linda Baraniak-Birk (Robert Birk) of Riverview; her daughter Danielle Davis (Heath Blake) of Maryland; her grandchildren, Erin Dupra (Andrew Pryce) of Burke, James Vogt of West Chazy, Grace Dupra, Marilyn Pryce, Natasha Wolf, Anna Lee Davis and William Davis; and her nieces and nephews, Danny, Shawn, Bobby Bennett, Steven, Roy Henry Soderberg, Anastasia Reil, Savanna Wilson and Jennifer Betteridge.
