He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Paul Allen (Robin); his grandsons, Jacob and Joshua; his son Christopher Allen (Lourdes); and his grandsons, Cody and Colton. He was also cherished by six siblings and their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wounded Warrior Project, The Animal Welfare Institute, or The National Center on Addiction.
