We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2019, Nancy Chambers (Saranac Lake, New York), born in Buffalo, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles A. Smith and Alma B. Smith; and her sister Judy Weller. She is survived by: her spouse Mel Chambers; her daughter Susan; her son-in-law Miles VanNortwick of Saranac Lake; her grandchildren, Adam (Steph), Jenifer VanNortwick of Washington, DC, Amy Bell of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Samuel Chambers of Golden, Colorado; her great grandchildren, Gavin and Avery VanNortwick; and her nieces and nephews, Jody Wentworth (Carl), Mark Weller (Ann) and Scott Weller (Lisa).
Those wishing to remember Nancy are asked to consider a donation to the Saranac Lake Teachers' Association Scholarship Fund or the Saranac Lake Volunteer Fire Department or Rescue Department.
