She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Bland and Jean Bland (Proctor); and her husband Daniel Cates. She is survived by: her nephews, Thomas Cates (Debie), Randolph Cates (Katherine) and William Cates (Pamela); her niece Nancy Cates Pinckney (Edward); and her cousins, Gary, Glen and David Isherwood of England.
