He was predeceased by: his parents, Seymour Kersey and Rhue Kersey (Johnson); and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his wife Mildred; his daughters, Barbara Sellis (David) of Venice, FL, Susan Edick (Robert) of Pulaski, NY and Janet Timmerman (Art Muldoon) of Fairport, NY; his grandchildren, Rene, Rita, Tim, Amy and Jeff; his daughters, Heidi and Miranda; and also, Rand Timmerman and Pat Caster.
The family requests that donations be made in Elwin Kersey's name to the Sandy Creek Community Park Association PO Box 22 Sandy Creek, NY 13145.
