McEvoy; the mother of his children Sally Brown; his son Dr. Joshua Nelson; his grandchildren, Cooper and Lily; his daughter Tara Nelson; his grandchildren, Gregory, Draco and Kylah; his stepson William Davies; his grandsons, Bradley and Tyler; his stepdaughter Debra Davies; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Justin, Isaac and Lanasha; his sister Dawn [Jerry] Patterson; his niece Mia; his sister Karen Jones; his niece Nia; his brother Jay [Adalia] Nelson; and also Dr. Elisha Nelson. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
