He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Thomas and MaryHelen Thomas; and his grandparents, Wallace, Addie Mae Whitley, Clifford and Nettie Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Philip (Jessica) of Sandy Creek, Emily (Chase) of Port Deposit, MD and Lindsay (Steve) of Phoenix. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and an uncle.
Donations in memory of Dale and his legacy of service are graciously being accepted by Fire & Iron Station 1438, P.O. Box 911, Mexico, NY 13114. Donations in his memory will be used to serve community members in need.
