He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Lyle and V. Kathleen Thomas Steinberg (late Both) of Potsdam, NY.; his wife Marcy; his children, Jana Price (Paul) and Justin Steinberg (Rae); his grandchildren, Sandra Lee Price, Sidney Fan Steinberg and Walter William Steinberg; and his siblings, Deborah, Judy Cainaru and Ward. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews and friends.

Donations can be made in his memory to Community Hospice or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
