He is survived by: his children, Robert F. Banas, Jr. and Graceanne Jordan (Mark); his grandchildren, Theresa, Christopher, Courtney Campbell and Brandon Barry; his great grandchildren, Olivia McKenzie, Carter Campbell, Connor Campbell and Aedan Rynkowski; and his sister Amy Dosiak. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
