He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys [Smith] Gailie Minckley (Franklin) and John A. Gailie. He is survived by: his wife Beverly A. [Clark] Gailie; his children, Jennifer A. Springer, Carrie Gordon (Corey) and John Gailie (Missy); his grandchildren, Loralei, Emmaline Gailie, Greyson Gordon, Kai and Ani Springer; and his brother James R. Gailie (Maryanne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in his name to Roswell Park Alliance Foundation.
