She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold S. Banks and Margery P. Banks (Palmer); and her husband John F. MacDonald, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Margaret E. Marquis (Edward) and John F. MacDonald, III (Erica); her grandchildren, Christopher E. Marquis (Tressa) and Andrea M. Minurka (Thomas); her great grandchildren, Mila I. Minurka and Isla J. Minurka; and her sister Gail M. Browning (late Bill).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SPCA Niagara.
