She was predeceased by: her parents, William Tappendorf and Edna [Ziegler] Tappendorf. She is survived by: her husband Albert Kydd; her daughters, Susan Evenson (Jeff) and Pamela Hession (Bill); and her grandchildren, Amy Waters (Tom), Sean Hackett, Constance Wilhoit (John) and Morgan Brown (Collin). She is also survived by six great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made in her name to Niagara Hospice.
