She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Ackley and Grace Ackley (Pardee); her siblings, Arthur, Harold, Raymond Ackley and Edith Humphrey; and her son-in-law John Shulkie.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Shulkie of Cooperstown, Walter Chmielewski (Tammy) of Dolgeville and William Chmielewski (Pamela) of Salisbury; her grandchildren, Janine Shulkie of Cooperstown, John Shulkie, Jr. of Cooperstown, Stephanie Ragone (Dan) of Long Island, Cindy Rockwell (Brett Petley) of Dolgeville, Kelly Nash (Scott Moore) of Dolgeville, Billi Jo Stallman (Edward, Jr.) of Dolgeville and Michelle Chmielewski (Jason Vedder) of Stratford; and her great grandchildren, Dominic, Hailey, Hanna, Samuel, Jeremiah, Abigail, Morgan, Colton, Avery and James. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
