“My condolences go out to William, Warren's niece and nephew, Tom Fontana, and everyone that has either worked with, or studied theatre under Warren. He was a great mentor during my time at Buffalo State College, as an exchange student from Australia, giving me the opportunity to experiment with character analysis; both as an actor and as a writer. Warren entrusted me to be his assistant director for 'I Am A Camera,' and for that I am eternally grateful, as it enabled me to gain the confidence to together a range of 'Arts' in my capacity as 'Director / Teacher' on my return to Australia. I will also miss the regular Christmas cards, with his hand written accounts of what he and William had done over the previous 12 months. Thankyou for being you. Enjoy the 'theatre in the sky', with Leonard Nemoy, Shelly Winters and the other great performers you have worked with.”

When I think back on the years at Buffalo State I see how tall he stands in those memories.
